As
a mechanic engineer with 30 years of practical and technical
experience , I needed a new challenge.
As I also had 30 years of experience in yachting, it was logical
to turn that experience into advice.
In 1993 I started my own company, Expertiseburo R.C.Schuijt
BV, with the goal of making pre-purchase and insurance surveys.
After 3 years I decided to specialize in pre-purchase- , sale
surveys and valuations only, as there was an enormous demand
for that.
Over 5000 sailing- and motoryachts have now been inspected
or appraised, both in my own country as well as abroad.
Through additional studies and by following ongoing education
in the area of yacht- and boatbuilding, I am the only surveyor
in the Netherlands with all the certifications and qualifications
that can be obtained in the Netherlands.
